A beginner-friendly flat water SUP, yet one that won't hold you back as you progress in the sport. An ideal cross-over designed for flat water, yet is surf friendly in up to 4-5 foot waves.

This 10'6" board is THE one hard board that will work for 90% of new or experienced paddle boarders. If you definitely want to get a hard board and are wondering which board you should get, odds are this is the one. It will effortlessly float a 240 lb paddler, or even an adult paddler and a small child riding on the nose. If you prefer a classic stand up paddle board to an inflatable paddle board then this is the paddle board for you.

The finishing touches on the board were given just as much thought. Unlike many SUPs, where the traction pad is an afterthought, the sharp looking Tower branded traction pad was designed as an accessory to enhance the beauty of the board. A 2+1 Futures fin box configuration was added to allow for flexibility in intended use so this board will work perfect for beginners, and also as you get more experienced in the sport. A maintenance free air vent, a single long board SUP center fin, and two Futures Fins side bit fins are included with every board.

Perhaps as classically beautiful as it is functional, the Tower Classic 10'6" is a perfect meeting of form, function, and good looks. A classic, triple stringer surfboard look with ample rocker. Features a simple, yet elegant sanded finish for a 60s throw-back Southern Californian look. It feels like a surfboard. It looks like a surfboard, intentionally. Don't be surprised when it turns a few heads at the beach in stark contrast to the majority of goofy, painted windsurfer-like SUPs flooding the market.

This board was designed in the California in Tower's San Diego stand up paddle board factory, yet due to our manufacturer direct distribution model it is $500 cheaper or more than comparable quality boards sold thru retail by other brands.

The Tower Classic 10'6" - a great board that's easy on the eyes, easy to carry, easy to store, and quite simply easy to fall in love with.

I have Two Tower boards

Review by: from Saint Petersburg Florida on 5/12/2019
I have The 10’6 hardboard and the 10’4 Inflatable Chris Craft special addition. Both are very stable, the hard board had some blemishes under the coating but otherwise beautiful. I wish the hardboard had bungee cord in the front. The Inflatable is almost as stable, and it it extremely rigid! People commented the first time we took it out on “wow that’s an Inflatable ?!” . It was delivered quickly and protected. Overall a great experience and Tower is the Best ISUP I have seen.

Solid SUP Overall! Great Value

Quality board, paddles well and surfs well.

I dig the board, the brand and the company.

Only advice - make sure you keep on top of your quality control. My board has several blemishes that are glassed in. They appear to be on the SUP blank when it was being shaped out at the factory.

Arrived 2 weeks late and wasn't the color I expected

Review by: from on 7/30/2018
The paddle board I ordered was supposed to arrive in 7-14 days (freight shipping) but after 17 days it still hadn't showed up. I contacted Tower to ask about the delay and after 2 more days of waiting for a reply they informed me that the board had been damaged during shipping. While they were apologetic and accommodating, I was a bit annoyed that no one bothered to inform me about the damaged board until I contacted them. They sent a replacement but I had to wait another 2 weeks for it to arrive.

Strangely, the board that arrived was blue and black instead of black and white like the website's picture indicated. I'm not sure why the color didn't match the photograph but its possible that I missed a setting while ordering.

The board functions fine but had I known about the issues with freight shipping and color ahead of time, I likely would not have purchased the item.

Great product!!!

Love this board!

It took me forever to determine which board to get for my family and we are so pleased with our choice! I wanted a board that would support a lot of weight and still keep me dry since I usually have a kid or two on with me. This board is light to carry, very buoyant, stable (even my dog was not successful in making me fall off), the pad is large and comfortable under the feet for longer durations. I purchased the three part paddle and am happy with that too. It's durable and easy to adjust for when the kids use it.

Everything went smoothly. I will purchase from them again.

Great Board. Stable, Fast enough, Fun

I love my new paddle board. It was been great fun for the whole family. My son takes it out on the ocean and rides the waves of fire Island. My daughter tours the Long Island Sound and my wife will paddle around in the harbor and relax on the board lounge-style. It is very stable. You almost cant flip the board in calm waters. It is faster then other similar style boards. It is VERY lite and easy to get on and off the car rack. Great Price too! I highly recommend this board!

Love my board

Great second Tower board as I own an Explorer 14 also. The Classic is super lightweight and very quick as well. I am 68 but very active and love new water sports challenges...kayaking for 35 years but relatively new to SUP.

Great board

Classic 10'6 w/ paddle

Review by: from on 10/5/2016
I looked at this board for about a year. I almost bought another board at a big box (Dick's) store based on price but didn't. Then Customer Appreciation Week came along in my email. Day 1- free shipping on hard boards. I could not believe it. And a free board bag to boot. Both for $499. Pulled the trigger. I ordered the adjustable fiberglass paddle the next day for $99 w/ free shipping also. THEN Wednesday's special was $20 off any paddle! Damn! Oh well, $99 for this paddle is still a great deal. I received all 3 items the following week, after some confusion w/ Pilot Freight- you guys gave them an incorrect phone number. We straightened it out.
I love this board. The quality is evident in every aspect, from appearance to finish to feel to weight. Same with the paddle. Everything you describe on the website is true and accurate. I will be sure to tell anyone who asks about my board all about my experience buying from Tower. You folks are doing it right. Thanks.

10ft Classic SUP

Review by: from on 9/20/2016
This is our second purchase. It arrived damaged in transit. I sent 3 photos to the customer service email address with heading"received damaged in transit". Within2 days the trucker called to pickup the damaged unit. Within3 days a new board was shipped and it arrived 1 week later in perfect condition. No Fuss, no muss. Customer service is proactive and calls me to work out any details, logistics and creates a sense of making me an important customer. That's why I purchased a second board a year later. Pretty impressive company!
