An "On the go" SUP racing/touring board that's also lightening fast. At 12'6" long and 6" thick, this is a revolutionary inflatable design. Originally designed for the jet-setting SUP-racing crowd, the Tower iRace inflatable SUP board is also ideal for anyone that just wants a crazy fast flat-water touring board.
NOTE: This is just the board and fin. You will need a pump to inflate. SUP paddles sold separately, as well. Or buy this board in a complete iSUP package.
2-Year Warranty on iSUPs
Includes a 12'6" by 30" by 6" inflatable SUP, a high-end Tower branded diamond grooved deck pad, an fin box with a removable center fin, a hand hold strap, a roll-up carrying strap, a towing ring on the nose, and a leash attachment ring on the tail.
It will shock you how fast the 12'6' Tower iRace inflatable sup board is. This inflatable paddleboard is made for racers or recreational paddlers who still want the speed of a race board. At 12'6", it will cut through choppy water. If you're near an open ocean or larger lake, having a longer board will make it easier for you to paddle farther distances. This board is also a bit narrower than our other models, so it is a bit more streamlined for those out there who want to race with it. As stand up paddle boarding grows, you see more and more inflatable boards in races. We believe this design, with the pointed nose, narrower width and 6" thickness will be the go-to board for racers out there.
Even with all the benefits of a race board, that doesn't go to say recreational paddlers can't handle this board. If you're looking for a board faster than our all-around Adventurer, but a bit more compact than the exceptionally speedy Xplorer, this is the board for you! It has tons of volume and stability for everyday users. At 12'6", the added length also helps stabilize taller riders who may feel a bit wobbly on a shorter board.
The Tower iRace Inflatable SUP board is made from extremely rugged materials like those you'd find on the highly regarded Zodiac boats and extreme river rafts. The amazing rigidity in the iRace is created by thousands of vertically oriented strands of identical length that connect the top deck to the bottom. When inflated, they form a structure that has the rigidity of a piece of plywood, and the thicker you go the exponentially more rigid it gets. You'll be amazed. We can literally put the front tip of the 12'6" Tower iRace on one chair and the rear tip on another chair and a 200 lb person can stand in the middle and you can barely see the thing flex.
Be weary of newer boards made with the fused process. While they may be lighter, they lose rigidity and durability in this newer construction process and are much lower quality boards overall.
Traditionally, inflatable SUPs were only a consideration for traveling - store one in the cuddy cabin on your yacht, take it with you on the plane, or haul it into that secret mountain lake or river and you can stand up paddle board in the farthest corners of the earth. With the combination of speed and rigidity of the Tower iRace, an inflatable SUP is hard to beat on flatwater with anything less than a full-fledged racing hard board... and don't be surprised if it outperforms a few of those.
